Question : Windows 7 Sounds Controls (device at Volume 0 but can still hear)
We have a strange issue since switching to Windows 7. We use Enermax USB keyboards, which have a headphone jack on them (no volume controls on keyboard).
When using Windows volume control, we turn the volume all the way down to zero, but we can still hear volume. The only way to mute the sound is to click MUTE on windows controls or by muting the application delivering sound. Otherwise, even at ZERO, we can hear.
Anyone else had this issue and know how to fix it?
Answer : Windows 7 Sounds Controls (device at Volume 0 but can still hear)
Keyboard manufacturer said they recreated the issue in Windows 7 but cannot apply a fix for it.
