Question : MAGENTO ENTERPRISE: Need to make static link in category menu (always display throughout layers)

I'm creating a category item (just a text link like the Shop By links) that needs to be displayed throughout the site.

It should be above attribute layer (attribute selector)

You need to edit/override "app\design\frontend\default\default\template\catalog\navigation\left.phtml"

Just add the link into this file to be displayed in the left nav.

P.S. You should state what version of Magento you are using. There have been some radical restructuring in newer versions.
