Question : Win2000 Terminal Server and your terminal services client license will expire in x days
Hello
I have a terminal server running on machine with win2000 server sp4.
I have 10 user TSCALs activated on terminal server licensing.
Recently a user with a laptop with win7 pro x32, which was connecting
without problem started to get a message like this "your terminal services client license will expire in 5 days".
When these days passed he cannot login anymore on terminal server.
I examined terminal server licensing on win2000 and i see that the computer name of his pc is located under "Temporary licenses for win2000 ts client access".
My question is how can i move this and place it on "Existing win2000 licenses".
There are totally 6 users which connect on this server so i should have license for this user too.
On existing win2000 licenses i can see all the computer names of users which connect to the server but also i can see
computer names of computers which i have connected for administration purposes!
Does TS counts all of them the same?
