Question : new SMTP connector to Ironport not working!
We have a brand new Ironport appliance c series that I am trying to configure. We are running exchange 2007 and current SMTP connector works with no issues. I disabled an existing connector and created "Ironport SMTP connector" pointing to 10.150.12.17 internal IP of the Ironport. After I enable the connector messages stop going through to the external e-mail addresses and with further investigation we found out that they don't even get to the Ironport appliance. I have tested connectivity from the exchange to Ironport and everything seems to be ok. I was able to putty from the exchange server and send an e-mail to an external address with CLI it went through! What am I doing wrong with this connector?
