Question : laptop ram

Hi,

We have a dell laptop in the office which has 1G of ram X 2.  When 2 ram are in, it shows 1014M, I tested each of them in different slot, they all work fine, but they 2 are in, it shows only 1g is available...any ideas?  thx

with the 2gb of ram that you are currently experiencing issues with?

If so, faulty ram/board - try new RAM (as its cheap) if not get the laptop sent back/ off for repair (or get a new one).
