Question : Backup exec 2010 hangs on System State on Server 2008.

After the upgrade from Backup exec 12.5 to version 2010, backup procedure hangs at SYSTEM STATE stage on the server which it is installed on(server 2008).
I have checked permissions and credentials, ran LiveUpdate on the server and on all clients. Called Symantec support. Their tech guy looked at a couple permissions, created a separate job for SYSTEM STATE only and it worked. However, it doesn't work when SYSTEM STATE is part of a FULL BACKUP.

Any ideas anyone? I'd be happy to post any info that may be helpful, just let me know.

Update the server with the below mentioned VSS hotfixes:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb959978

Also Does the Windows 2008 has been updated with the latest Service Packs. If not update it.
