Question : Opera 10.x how to find each tab's memory consumption

Dear experts i am using Opera 10.x (10.1 and 10.6) i usually have 5-6 windows opened and in total approx 200 tabs. using same <session>.win file with 10.1-Final i get 1.2-GB RAM usage and with 10.6-3442 i get 1.8-GB RAM usage. i have 3-GB total RAM and because of research work i cannot close most of tabs to save ram, If i could find the highest ram using tabs to target the root cause. so i am here for how to find each tab's memory consumption. I have following URI schemes in address bar but i dont think they are specific to tabs individually.

opera:memdebug
opera:cache?device=memory
opera:cache?device=offline
opera:config#UserPrefs
opera:config

Thank you

Answer : Opera 10.x how to find each tab's memory consumption

dear hdhondt, the article is basic and i have read very complex private-bytes discussing articles too. i believe FF, IE, chrome sperate process technique is also bad this causes each process mem to blown up, since seeration cause overhead to seep in each process. i believe opera should develop some tab monintoring despite their stance that these threads, not processes. threads or not there must be debug mode or plugin or status area telling mem consumption of that tab/thread. there are several tip of how to lower mem usage by disabling thumbnail, voice, appearence to native but all fail or barely bring 1.8GB consumption.

opera 10.1-final-build was best ever version, 10.5x are so worst that there is no linux version of 10.5x. 10.6 is again promissing but still couldnt capture charm of 2-3years old 10.1.

i have managed to finally crack the consumption code by running opera 200-tabs session with LAN/DSL disconnected so only those pages load which are in cache only. i have achieved a drop to 1GB usage from 1.8GB usage. this also has led me to believe that those pages which could not be loaded, are the bad boys/tabs because if DSL would have been connected those tabs would have taken usage to 1.8GB.

you would be impressed by my research on opera :) so i am marking my own answer, answered. trust me 10.1/10.6 are best operas against any IE, FF, chrome.
