Question : Add Mirror Greyed Out
Lightning strike.
Machine had 3 HD's in it, C, D, and E.
Two died: C: and D:.
D and E were mirrored.
E is OK.
Reinstalled Win7 on to a new C. That's working.
Installed a new D. That's showing up fine (Same make / model as the other dead drive as well as the alive and well E: drive).
E: showed up as a foreign disk, so I imported it.
E: is healthy.
D & E are the same make, model and size. Both are dynamic disks.
However, "Add Mirror" is greyed out on both.
How do I re-build the mirror?
Answer : Add Mirror Greyed Out
Delete the volume on the new drive then the mirror option should be available.
