Question : Disable Wireless adapters when Laptops are connected to LAN

My company would like me to look into an automated way of disabling the WLAN adapter in our Dell Vostro Laptops when they are connected to our LAN as to avoid any security risks that may arise should the Laptop connect to a un-secure broadcasting access point and be connected to our LAN simultaneously.

We were looking at using Dell Quickset software but it would not accomplish what we wanted it to do. Any solutions guys?

Thanks.

Answer : Disable Wireless adapters when Laptops are connected to LAN

I just did a quick google search.

start -> control panel -> network and internet connections icon -> network connections icon -> advanced menu -> Advanced settings... -> in the Connections: box, move the Local Area Connection up (before Wireless Network Connection). This will make the Local Area Connection profile take precedence over the Wireless Network Connection profile -> REBOOT.

Or a paid way.
