Question : Exchange Store Restore

Hi,

I am running Symantec Backup Exec 12.5. I have a tape with Exchange Store Backup of a previous date. I want to restore this Backup to a Folder on a PC in the Same network, for reading a mail with a thirdparty utility.

My worry is, If I do restore like this, will it affect  my Live Exchange server? in any way?(I am worried only until the restore complete because after restore I can disconnect the PC from the network and do my job with the store)

As you are restoring to PC. It will not effect Live Exchange  Server.
