Question : Installing MAPI CDO on Exchange 2007

Guys, I'm trying to do GRT mailbox backups on Symantec Backup exec and it's been giving me grief. Basically, after a few hours the backup fails and the error message says:

To support individual mailbox message and folder restores from Information Store backups, you must download and install the Microsoft Exchange Server MAPI Client and Collaboration Data Objects package on the Exchange 2007 server.

Have you done this before? I just wanted to know whether installing a newer version of the MAPI Client which seems to be around 600MB+ can lead to any problems/issues afterwards?
