Question : Wrong favicons displayed on desktop & favs

HI,
Quite a lot of my favicons & shortcuts on my dektop& in my favourites have suddenly started displaying the wrong favicons for the site they link to, aprt from been extremely annoying
I can't seem to find a way to return the favicons back to the correct ones.

Anyone any simple solutions please

Using Win7 & IE8
