Question : mgcp gateway registration issues with call manager

We're using MGCP gateways with CUCM 7.0. There are 2 things I wanted to ask.

1. Sometimes the MGCP gateway reigsters with CUCM but it uses the wrong interface of the gateway router to register (and hence voice call routing doesn't work). Instead of registering using the interface specified in router-config "mgcp bind source-interface loopback0":, it instead registers with the actual physical ethernet0/0 interface ? Is that a common behaviour. I had to restart the gateway router to have it re-register with the correct interface....

On other occasions, I've noticed that sometimes the CUCM doesn't send all of the MGCP configuration via TFTP to the MGCP gateway router. Sometimes some commands are missing. Is that common behavior too ?

Can you post your gateway configuration? It will give me a better chance of figuring out your problem. Also instead of rebooting the gateway when you have an issue it is much faster to use the "no mgcp" and then "mgcp" commands.
