Question : Run Local App  from Remote Firefox

Trying to run a local application from the Firefox browser.  What are possible solutions?   I am trying to do this as simply as possible.

That's considered a security violation.  Firefox won't do that.  You may be able to create a "signed javascript" to access the local machine but that's the only way Mozilla said would do it.
