Question : Unable to copy and paste files through remote desktop

Problem: I'm not able to copy and paste files through remote desktop. I am able to copy and paste text. I am an administrator on the network. A different administrator is able to copy and paste files. At least two clients of mine are not able to copy and paste files.

I'm running Vista Business. The other administrator and other clients are running XP. I've tested RDP through an XP computer using my account and had no luck. The server is an SBS 2003.

When I attempt to paste a file, the paste option is grayed out.

What I've tried or checked so far.

1. Clipboard is checked under options in RDP (along with everything else)

2. Logging off and logging back on RDP.

3. Ended and restarted RDPClip.exe.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Answer : Unable to copy and paste files through remote desktop

Everyone is now able to copy and paste through remote desktop. I do not know what caused the issue or what solved it. A number of things came up so I never had the time to go back to troubleshoot this. When I finally got time to go back to check on this, there wasn't a problem to troubleshoot.
