Question : Intel VT vs. AMD-V for Hyper-V
I'm setting up a server (actually for testing, its my uber powerful workstation). I will be running a lot of VMware... I know Intel has really good direct-hardware access. Don't know about AMD-V... There's a processor of AMD's with 6 cores that looks nice, and its the same as a quadcore from Intel. Your advice??

The six core AMD Istanbul isn't as powerful as the Intel four core X5550:

Basically, AMD still has a lot of catching up to do to match the performance of the latest Intels.
