Question : Windows XP SP3 can't print to HP P1006 on USB Port

I can't print to this HP P1006 USB printer on this computer.  I hooked up the printer to another computer and it prints fine.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers, rebooted, bounced the print spooler and tried a few other things with no luck.  Here's the Event log entry I get every time I try to print.  Any suggestions?

Answer : Windows XP SP3 can't print to HP P1006 on USB Port

The port was set to the USB port.  I tried messing with various settings as described here:

http://www.eventid.net/display.asp?eventid=6161&source=print

but none of that worked either.  Finally I unplugged all USB devices and ran a (Dell \ Intel) chipset driver update.  That seems to have resolved the issue.  Thanks for the help.
