Question : getting colorbox(lightbox) to initialize onload

I am trying to get a jquery popup to initialize a small static iframe page when my main page loads.  The lightbox clone I'm using right now is clearbox 3, but I can't find any documentation on how to get it to autostart.  So I downloaded colorbox to see if I can get it to work.  I am still having difficulties with this and wanted to know if someone could either help figure out what my problem is or perhaps suggest a different lightbox that might be easier for an inexperienced coder like myself.  

The snippit from my safari browser is below showing the TypeError that I am getting...this is using colorbox.

check that you do not have an entry in /etc/hosts for your windows pc. if you do, remove the entry.
