This is probably because the native scanning software (HP) dialog is being invoked, instead of the PP12 scanning manager. To change this, click the Scan Settings icon on the toolbar, and you will likely see that the "Display scanner dialog box" is checked. This is what's causing the HP scanning software to appear. Un-check this box. Also, make sure you've run through scanner setup (click the Select... button, then Advanced setup). Regards, Joe
