You remove the current cache if any from the controller and put the 512MB module in its place and clip it down. Then you attach the battery module cable to it, then you fix the battery somewhere - location depends on server since the cache module fits to several. Sometimes it goes on the black plastic shroud that controls airflow, sometimes fixes onto metalwork.
