Question : InDesign CS3: Select a specific text frame

Apologies for the newbie question, but I know next to nothing about InDesign and have had it forced upon me against my will. I'm grateful for any help you can provide.

I've got some footer text that I'm pretty sure is contained in a text frame, given that a dotted line appears around it when I select View > Show Frame Edges. No matter how much I click or Ctrl+Click with the Selection tool, though, I can't seem to get into the frame to edit the text, or indeed select the frame at all. Even if I move every object I can select out of the way, I can't get it to acknowledge that the frame is even there.

The only other thing I could think of was that it might be a linked image file, but it doesn't show up in the Links window. Any suggestions?

Answer : InDesign CS3: Select a specific text frame

Check if the text box is on a master page. Go to window>pages and at the top you should have a page named A-Master or something like that. Double click on that page and see if the text box is on that page. If it is you should be able to edit it on the master page.
