Question : P2V - Windows XP cursor on boot

I ran vmware convertor on a windows xp sp3 pro box, and converted fine. I tried booting it up using a ESXi and ESX host 4.0 and all I get in the console windows is a black screen with a blinking cursor.

I tried following this article however there is no burnmemory switch in the boot.ini file. Any ideas?
