Question : Why would BackColor of a cell in Excel not accept a specific value?
Hi,
I have to assign different background colours to cells depending on the value of the cell.
I have a function for generating the colour code, and MOSTLY it works OK.
However, a special value cannot be accepted - maybe there are more that won't work, but I just came across this one.
I aklready searched your database and came acroos "ID:22773906 Author:rbertke Date:20/08/07 11:45 PMQuestion " - and it certainly seems my approach is OK
Please see attached screen dump.
Than you

Answer : Why would BackColor of a cell in Excel not accept a specific value?
Is that Excel 2000/3?
The color palette is limited and even the color bit-depth is limited.
In Excel 2007, it works fine.
