Question : I have a machine having 3 partitions; Windows 7, Linux and HFS+ partition + Paragon capsule. Which tool to have a full backup including MBR?

Hi there;

A real challenge, I have a machine having 3 partitions; Windows 7-64 bit, Linux Ubuntu 8 (upgraded to 9 inside Ubuntu) and HFS+ partition for storing my MacBook Pro Leopard's time machine backup + Paragon capsule having a scratch image of my Windows 7 after driver installations.

The machine is Sony VAIO and the disk is single and 500 G, half of it's used.

Which tool to have a full backup without any issue? My aim to backup is if the partition(s), I will just have the very same structure including grub bootloader, most probably booting from the USB disk of 1 G having the image or booting up with some live CD of the product to post the image.

Diskcost is not the main priority and shrinking is not needed for the image.

Incremental backup could be nice but will it take too much time for the incremental backup?
and which Removable USB brand should I use for this? I mean for brand, my only issue is compatibility while posting back the image. Are 1 T USB disks recognized in these processes of taking backup/posting backup?

So, which solution with ease?
Acronis? Norton? Paragon? or which any other? and which version?

My inequality:
Stability after posting the image > Ease of use while taking backup process >  Ease of use while posting the image successfully > incremental backup > money.

Best regards.

Best if you upgrade to latest version which is Drive Backup 10. It will support backup and recovery of all mentioned systems by you.
HFS+ version 8 is a standalone product that give read\WRITE access to HFS file system in Windows: http://www.paragon-software.com/home/hfs-windows/
And sure, yes, they do support USB drive as storage for image.
