Question : SSRS 2005 Report using  Jump To Report option

If I have a 50 page SSRS report and lets say on page 19 the user clicks a field that is coded as a Jump To Report. Now the the report jumps to another report to show some data. When the user returns to the original report again, it brings the user back to page 1 of the first report not page 19.

Is there a way to return to the page 19 and not page 1 of the original report ?

Answer : SSRS 2005 Report using  Jump To Report option

Hi

No....

There are some workarounds but they involve changing the reports:
1) When you jump to new report you can pass information (which page) and Instead of back button you can use 'jump back' and use the information to perform sorting so it is on first page. Not very elegant way of doing that.
2) To peform what you want you can use bookmark that works fine but the issue is you don't jump so it is still one report (difficult to re-use the report).
3) If you have relativelly small amout of info you can add subreport / hide it and show it using toggle item. (+ sign)
