Question : Solaris 10 vs Linux Server
Hey guys,
I have to set up a server for Numara Footprints.
I was thinking heavily about Solaris 10, but I just wanted to gauge the opinion on my fellow IT experts.
I have the choice of Linux, Solaris or a Windows Server. Ive seen arguments where since Oracle bought over Sun, solaris is doomed to be discontinued as it is propitiatory now, vs linux which is free and even most of the internet runs on.
Tell me your pick and why. I greatly appreciate your input and values opinions.
Answer : Solaris 10 vs Linux Server
