Question : Cisco 2610XM Stun Configuration Not Working?

Hi All,

We have been asked to build a config and apply them to a pair of Cisco 2610XM with 2 x WIC2T Cards over Serial using STUN. We have the configs perfectly built using templates from other successful installations of the same design. We didn't configure these other sites, but they are all working fine.

However the 2 Cisco 2610XM's we have received will not accept the simplest of STUN commands:

stun peer-name x.x.x.x
stun protocol-group 1 basic

It doesn't seem to recognise the STUN command. I also can't see STUN as a configurable option in the available list of commands when I press "?" under configuration mode...

Hi There

You will need at least an IP Plus feature set in order to configure STUN. It appears from the output that you only have an IP only feature set. Sorry it wasn't the anwser you were hoping for. You might be able to talk to your maintenance provider in order to give you the IP Plus IOS otherwise there will be a cost in upgrading.
