Question : Blackberry Enterprise Server Express, MAPI subsystem error
I have installed BES Express and am having a problem with the configuration. When I go into the BB Server Config panel and click on Edit MAPI profile, I get the following error:
The MAPI subsystem cannot be correctly initialized and used. Please make sure MAPI is installed and configured properly.
I have checked in add/remove programs and I DO have Messaging API and Collaboration Data Objects 1.2.1 installed. When I launch the Exchange DVD, it says that I already have the Exchange Management application installed.....I don't. Any ideas? Is MAPI 1.2.1 enough, or do I need the full Exchange Admin app installed, if so how when it thinks it's already on!?
Exchange version is 2007 (SP1) and is installed on a different server. BES platform is Windows 2008 (fully patched) X64.
