Question : How to create bootable DVD from downloaded Windows Server EXE
I'm downloading Windows Server 2003 w/ SP2 from the Microsoft Volume License Service center in the form of 1 EXE file. I need to burn it on to a DVD to load it on a new server. How do I burn it so that it's bootable? I already tried extracting the EXE and just burning the contents to a DVD+R disc using the built in to Windows 7 burning functionality, but when I tried booting the server from this disc it didnt recognize it. Thanks for your help.

Do you have the option of downloading it as an ISO ? If so go for that, you can then burn it to disc and it will be bootable, using Nero or CD BurnerXP (freeware)
