Question : How to retrieve a Joomla database password - GoDaddy installation
Hello,
I cannot access the mysql databases on my GoDaddy Joomla installations via phpAdmin.
When I look into the configuration.php of the site, I see a password in the var $password = line.
Going into the hosting control pane, I select the database and try to open it via phpAdmin with that password from the $password line, but I always get an error message.
What's wrong here?
Thanks!
Answer : How to retrieve a Joomla database password - GoDaddy installation
Hi Sumukha,
in my experience once in the Control Panel you should be able to open the database in phpAdmin without any further credentials. Sounds like a GoDaddy server or control panel issue and you should ask their support for assistance.
