Question : Remove Old AD Computer Account via Command Line
Hi folks!
In a Windows Server 2003 Active Directory environment is there a way to, from the command line, delete an old computer account that is no longer used? This could be accomplished either from the command line on the domain controller itself, or remotely from a connected XP workstation, though the latter would be preferable.
I'm familiar with the NETDOM tool for command-line management from a connected workstation, but can't seem to find an option that accomplishes exactly what I want. The REMOVE command seems to be designed to only work for removing a computer from the domain that still exists and can be contacted, whereas I want to remove the account for a computer that already no longer exists.
Thanks!

Does this happen on every client or is it just one client that is having this issue. If you switch up the DNS servers on the client does it make a difference?
