Question : Cisco VPN client receives error Reason 429 on Windows 7

The president of the company has a new Lenovo Netbook running Windows 7 starter.  I installed the Cisco VPN client and it seemed to install fine.  The setup is the same for everyone.  All of the XP machines can connect.  When he tries to connect he gets the error "Secure VPN connection terminated locally by the client.  Reason 429: Unable to resolve server address."
We use the IP address (not a host name) so it can't be a DNS problem.
The ASA is a 5510 and the Cisco client is 5.0.00.0340

Answer : Cisco VPN client receives error Reason 429 on Windows 7

I'd download the current version of the VPN client.  You are using an older version.
