Question : looking for wifi when travelling (airport express?)

i'll be staying in a couple hotels soon without wireless, only ethernet. so i was thinking about how to handle this. i'll be bringing mac stuff with me so i thought about getting an airport express. will this do the job? is it like a wireless router? am i safe behind that wireless router?

or is airport express only for extended a wireless router?

thanks for your help
tony

Answer : looking for wifi when travelling (airport express?)

The airport express has an ethernet port so it can be connected to an existing network and then broadcasts wifi.

I am unfamiliar with the actual setup process but according to Apple it does support WEP and WPA security so it would be as secure as any other wireless router if setup properly.
