Question : 64-bit IE8 needs an Adobe Flash Player?

As some videos don't play on my windows 7 running a 64-bit IE8, I am often getting popup warning for an Adobe Flash Player. Where can I download one that really works. Or should I download and use a 32 bit IE8 instead? Please advise.
