Question : Exchange 2010 MX record
Hi,
I want to test my Exchange 2010 lab. I'm about to cut-over the email to Exchange 2010. We have 3 CAS/Hub servers in an array. May be a silly question, but, where do I point MX record to? Do I point it to the Virtual IP of the array?
It goes likes this for the CAS/HUB array:
IP Public -> Servers[1-3].
Any thoughts?
Answer : Exchange 2010 MX record
You want to point the MX record at the Public IP address... usually people will have a firewall at the public IP address which will then forward SMTP traffic to the cas/hub server or in you're case, a virtual IP
