Question : What is best way to transfer Settings and Files from one XP Prof. to a new XP Prof. PC

I am trying to find the best way to transfer all the Settings and Files from one Windows XP Prof. PC to a new Windows XP Prof. PC.

I want in particular to make sure all the settings for Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook OneNote, Groove, etc. for Office Enterprise 2007) transfer across.  I need to make sure all templates and settings for these Office Pograms transfer.

Also, Desktop, Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc. settings as well as all other user settings.

I know XP has the Files and Settings Transfer wizard but have not used before and I am not sure if it captures all settings and templates, etc. for all users I want from Old PC to new.

Also, there is the new Easy Transfer but it seems that is only for XP to Vista or XP to Windows 7 and not for XP Prof., to XP Prof.

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

The best way to transfer data is there is a option in windows XP -
Start- programs - accessories - File & settings transfer wizard.
Run this wizard step by step & as per your requirement.
