Question : importing & exporting favourites from vista to xp laptops

as there was a problem on my vista laptop, ive saved and exported my favourites on my vista laptop to my external hdd.

ive installed xp on another laptop and tried to import favourites but it says file doesnt exist. i can though double click the html file and see my saved favourites.

is there a way to allow me to see my favourites via xp instead of vista?

Check if the linux boot CD allows you to boot into text mode. With Windows 7 try booting into safe-mode, or low graphics mode if that is available.
