Question : XP corrupt file system

How do I fix a corrupt file system?

I went into recovery console and performed the following:

chkdsk /r
bootcfg /rebuild
fixboot
fixmbr

and it did not seem to work.  The XP machine still goes into a round robin and keeps stopping at the screen where it prompts for either:

safe boot
safe boot with networking
last know good
regular restart

But nothing seems to work.

Answer : XP corrupt file system

You will need to update your DNS and any static pointings you have to the old IP address - for example do you have any servers or devices with static IP addresses and pointing to the server for DNS.

Also, do you use AD sites? you will need to move the server.
