Question : Dell Inspiron 9100 won't start

I have a Dell Inspiron 9100 laptop that won't start. I have replaced the motherboard with a new one. I have tried using a different power cord and have tried memory from a duplicate laptop. The only thing I have not changed is the reserve battery. I have also rechecked all my internal connections. Does anyone have any good ideas? I have no lights of any kind.

If you are sure that replacement motherboard is working, then strip down laptop and boot only motherboard if still works then start attaching other devices and cables. Connect one by one and turn on before connecting second cable or device. Do it until you'll find what blocks motherboard.
