Question : Lotus Notes 6.5 certificate has expired

I administer a server 2003 network with an old NT4 server running Lotus Notes/Domino 6.5.
Suddently users complain that they can no longer log into their local Notes clients that says that their certificate has expired.

I go to the server and start the DOMINO ADMIN 6.5.
I log in as system administrator.
I imediately receive a server error saying YOUR CERTIFICATE HAS EXPIRED.

I go to :
CONFIGURATION
   CERTIFICATION
       CERTIFY
Supply certifier ID and password: D:\lotus\domino\data\cert.id

After clicking OK I get this error msg:

"Could not open the certificate log for write access on the registration server.
Server error: your certificate has expired"

I need help ASAP! :-)

From Above Link:

Check the 'User Type' of the entry in the Certlog ACL - it need to be 'Person' if it is against a user name or 'Person Group' if it is against an administration group.

You can also use the 'effective access' button in the ACL to test what it thinks you wil have.

Check this one looks like do not have correct permission on log file or you have selected wrong certificate.
