Question : Linux, qmail and spam?

We have a dedicated mail server that was set up by one of our guys who is no longer with us.

WE need to find out a few things.
1. what spam system is running on that server
a.( then after we know that)
A.. How do we stop most of the good email coming through marked as "Spam". IN other words the filters are wrong. The settings need to be adjusted to nor mark good email as spam and not to delete good email/. It seems they were set up to be very aggressive

B.. how to change the filter setting so we do not lose email.
We have tested this and found that email sent through this system sometimes does not reach the final destination but same email from same sender to different email address on different server does receive the email.

so first is to determine what systems.   is there a  simple command to find out?

Operating system      Fedora Core 6 with Plesk 8.2 (64-bit) with qmail

Answer : Linux, qmail and spam?

Where does it say that you can't upgrade with Fedora?  As an interim measure, http://wiki.apache.org/spamassassin/Rules/FH_DATE_PAST_20XX gives a way to nullify that rule which would lower spam scores by 3 points alone.  And http://wiki.apache.org/spamassassin/FORGED_MUA_OUTLOOK shows how to lower the "forged Outlook' scores.
