Question : Red X appears instead of image (issue on client's server, but not my test server) for report in IE7, IE8

Hello.  A customer that is using our website software is seeing a red X instead of an image on a web receipt.  When I right-click and select Properties, the Type and Size values are not available.  When I right click and choose Show Picture, nothing appears.  I encounter the same issue when I login to their website from my laptop, however, when I login to my test website from my laptop, the issue does not occur.  I tried both IE7 and IE8 and also ensured that the Show Pictures selection was checked in Tools > Internet Options.
Their web server and database server is on different boxes, the database server is on Windows Server 2008.
What may also be interesting is that (for the customer) the image appears on the receipt sent via email.
My question is, what would cause the red X to appear in the website?

Means the file is not being found.  Check the link and make sure it is both correct and that the file actually exists at that location and that everyone can actually access that location.  I've seen several instances where the developer accidentally linked the image to a file on his own computer (instead of on the server) where it Always showed up of course.  But no one else could view it.
