Question : Map Networkd Drive Disconnected

Hello Experts,
I have a small issue on My Windows 2008 Storage server, we have many shared folders which we migrate from Windows 2003 R2 File Server. All users have their permissions in place and we are able to May the drives to users computers.
However, same users logoff their computers before they go home and in the morning they just log back in, all drives are disconnected and to re-map they need to reboot. After a reboot all drives will map automaticlly. We never had this issue when we used Windows 2003 R2 File server. Is there any settings that force disconnection?
Thank you
Roy

Answer : Map Networkd Drive Disconnected

I believe SMB 2.0 which is on by default in Windows 2008 can cause connectivity issues with XP.  Here is a link describing how to disable it.  Try this as a test and report back your findings.
