Question : How to setup a remote office using Small Business Server

We are a small nonprofit organization who help people overcoming drug and alcohol issues.

We are opening a new office with 5 users. We currently have 20 users on a 2003 SBS. We are planning on using remote web workspace to start but down the road need a better solution. Can I install a second SBS at the new location and join it to our domain using another Small Business Server? If I can can I use SBS 2007, 2010, or should I stay with 2003? thanks

Answer : How to setup a remote office using Small Business Server

SBS is a domain controller so you cannot use multiple ones it in the same network.  To create a Remote system you better connect the 2 sites in hardware VPN (firewalls for better security), join the new site machines to the main office SBS domain and use the normal remote web workplace (beeing on VPN it will be on the same network)
