Question : SATA drivers for vista?
I thought this was only an xp issue but do I need to install third party drivers for sata drives on vista? I am trying to install vista on a Dell inspiron 531s. When it boots up it sees the hard drive but when I try to install vista it does not. It is not the stock hard drive it is a seagate ST3160815AS. Do I need drivers for this? I cannot find them on seagates site.
