Question : Anti Virus freeze Windows

Hello Experts,

I have bull guard antivirus and each time I try to shut down the computer, a window will pop up 'End Now'

When I click 'End Now' and the computer still unable to shut down.

Sometimes, it will turn into black screen and I can still see the mouse cursor moving. Ctrl At Del doesn't help at all.

I have contacted the Bull Guard support and was told to manually exit Bullguard each time before shutting down the computer. But that's ridiculous!

Is anyone having the same problem? How can I solve it?

I am running windows xp service pack 3 with bull guard v9.

Well i would start from scratch.
First unistall ur bull guard antivirus.Is this the only reason why ur system cannot shutdown properly.
Try to restart a number of times after u done some work.(lets say 5 times ..each time u will do something differnent,copy some files,read a pdf and so on)
The try one of the free antivirus..like
AVG  http://free.avg.com/ww-en/download-avg-anti-virus-free
Avast  http://www.avast.com/free-antivirus-download
If u find out that these antivirus work perfectly and u shutdown  with no problems then its time to call the Bull Guard and ask them either to solve ur problem or maybe a refund
