Question : Cisco Aironet 802.11g Wireless PCI LAN card error - this device cannot start (Code 10)

We are a company that is running multiple Dell model Desktops with Windows XP SP2 and SP3.  We have been using Cisco Aironet Wireless PCI LAN cards in our retail locations for a while now without issue.  Recently, when we install the Cisco cards on the Desktops, the drivers install, but in device manager, the Cisco card has the yellow explanation point on it with the error that the device cannot start.  This is happening on multiple Desktop Models (Optiplex 755, 960, GX620), and we have tried multiple Cisco cards (to rule out the hardware)
I have tried to install multiple different Cisco drivers, v40, v42 and v45 which is the latest from the Cisco web site.
I am wondering if some type of windows update is affecting this.  I have also tried updating to all the latest windows updates, and even tried rolling back updates as far back as December 2009, and I am still unable to get the card to work.

Has anyone else seen this before?  Is there any other type of software that might be causing this to happen?  (Symantec, Windows Update - anything?)  The error happens on both XP SP2 and SP3.

Thanks in advance for your help.
