Question : Can I extend the range of my wireless network with a second router ?

I have a Rangemax WPN824 v3 providing my internet connection.

I also have a Linksys WRT54G V6 router.

Could someone please tell me if its possible to use the linksys to extend the wireless range of the Rangemax and if so, how.
