Question : User Account Control and SCCM Remote Tools Sessions

Does anyone know how to keep the SCCM Remote Tools Sessions from kicking you if there's a UAC Prompt?  Sometimes I need to set something up on a user's desktop, and if it prompts me for credentials, I get kicked from the Remote Tools session and have to run over to their machine to put in my creds....which...kind of defeats the purpose...

Answer : User Account Control and SCCM Remote Tools Sessions

Hello wanderson75!

Without disabling UAC with a GPO or using RDP to access the device, I'm afraid I know of no way to get around this problem with using SMS/ConfigMgr Remote Tools.  I have been unable to find any word that MS has a way to resolve this issue yet.

Example of a situation similar to yours:
