Question : html text editor deleting tag info

i am trying to add some id's to a few div's so i can use jquery, but every time i enter my tags all the attributes get removed. is there any way around this issue, i didn't create the site and have limited access.

When you install Exchange 2010, it's unlicensed. This is also known as a trial edition. The trial edition expires 120 days after the date of installation. A server that is unlicensed functions as an Exchange Standard Edition server, but it isn't eligible for support from Microsoft support services.
